Pets-Part of our Families

Trianna-adopted by family, she only has 3 legs, but she is quick and she is the most loving cat ever:O
Percy-found abandoned at one of the barns at the farm, now one of the family at the farm:O, he is spoiled!

Tibby-found as a stray, we now have her as the "baby" of the house.

A few days back i had a few free minutes to actually catch something interesting on tv......{imagine that} and I was so moved by what I saw, I had to tell about it.

check out the link.

Im not sure what I did more,,cry, curse, or put it on mute.

It is so difficult to understand why some people seem to think it is acceptable to keep animals confined and limited to the surroundings fro the sake of earning a few extra dollars...I can think of so many more ways to make an honest living and be able to hold your head up high because of it. I would be so ashamed and embarrassed to know of anyone that does this.

At first, I was shocked. Then shocked turned to disbeleif, ..disbeleif turned to anger, then of course, my anger turned to crying.

I have always heard of people referring to puppy mills, how awful their conditions are, but I guess I never realized how terrible it actually was. The whole theory, "out of sight, out of mind" existed with me up to this point. Not anymore.

The day I watched Oprah, they had saved just under 40 dogs from puppy mills in the United States. -40 saved,,thousands more still there...makes me sad.
